VroomLog stores your vehicle-related information locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This includes details such as:
- Vehicle information (make, model, year, VIN, etc.)
- Fuel records, service history, expenses, trip logs, diagnostics, and reminders
If iCloud sync is enabled, this data may be stored in your private iCloud account via CloudKit. This means:
- No one at AppWorks has access to your data
- Data is not shared with third parties
- You retain full ownership and control of your information
- Analytics and Crash Reporting
VroomLog does not use third-party analytics or advertising frameworks.
Optional crash reporting may be handled through Apple’s built-in diagnostics, subject to your system privacy settings. - Subscriptions and Purchases
All purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store infrastructure. We do not see or store your payment details. - Notifications
If you enable reminders or service alerts, VroomLog may schedule local notifications. These remain on your device and are not sent externally. - Your Rights
As your data remains entirely on-device or in your private iCloud account:
- You can delete any record at any time
- Deleting the app may remove local data unless synced with iCloud
- You may disable iCloud sync in your system settings
- Changes
